Events - The Technical Package

The Event was held at RAF Leuchars in a hanger that usually houses Jets. We supplied Sound, Lights, AV, Stage and Managed the Agrekko generators.
The RAF supplied the entertainment in the form of the RAF Squadronaaires Big Band and Presented by Lorraine Kelly.

We can manage, supply and operate technical packages for any size of event but for the most part we work at Corporate, Charity and Awards type events usually held in Scotland's Hotel Ballrooms.

In our BASIC TECHNICAL PACKAGE we supply :-

1. A Logic System full range Compact Line Array (CA) for the band & DJ. With an operator and stage technician.
2. All the Mics, DI Boxes, Mic stands, Cables, Music Stands, Music Stand Lights, Monitors,IEMs etc required by the band.
3. A DJ dual CD system and/or DJ-PC system.
4. A Distributed PA System for clear speech throughout the venue. Logic system LS8 speakers on tripods round the room.
5. Lectern and Lectern Mics for Speeches.
6. Radio Mics for the Auctioneer and Presenter etc.
7. Radio Mics & IEMs for the band as required.
8. Fixed Lights, Led Up lighters and Moving heads for the dance floor and for the stage. With an operator.
9. A Full star cloth backdrop system for the stage.
10. Two Large Screens and projectors left and right of the stage.
11. Two camera persons with High Def cameras and Tripods on risers as required.
12. A Vision Mixing suite with 11 Multi Preview screens, High Def Vision mixer, twin DVD players and input for PC Graphics.
13. Two/Three Laptops for PowerPoint Graphics - VGA feeds to the vision mixer.
14 . One day pre-production of Event Visuals - PowerPoint and Video Editing etc.
15. Site visit and meeting to discuss technical requirements.
16. Liaison - You can speak to your assigned project manager and liaison with any other third parties the client brings in.
(e.g. additional entertainment, agents etc)

Transport, All Crew, Rig, Derig & Operation During your Event.
If possible we also fly most of the lighting system and screens. (Hilton, Thistle, Crown Plaza etc Where flying points are available)


The above is what we supply at about 90% of the shows we do so it is logical to make this the BASIC TECHNICAL PACKAGE.
But we can add more to this package if required.
Typical additional requirements being :-

  • More Screens & Projectors - Typically up to six.
  • Additional Cameras and Operators - Typically up to 4
  • Additional Acts during the show - Additional Mics and stage turnaround to accommodate a second band for example.
  • For large events we can supply a large concert sound system. - Typically in large venues like the SECC etc for 1000+ persons.
  • Special FX Lighting. Silk Flame FX, Table lights
  • GOBOs with the clients logos etc for projection
  • A Stage for when there is no in-house stage or the hotel stage is not big enough for the job etc.
  • Additional Drapes and Backdrops.
  • Theatrical Drapes & Backdrops to 'Theme' an event
  • LED Room uplighting.
  • Themed AV games
  • More complex Video editing etc.
  • Live, Real-Time webcast of your event. The world can see your event live even if they cannot be there in person.

Our basic Technical Package includes meeting with you and going over in detail all your technical requirements and what look and feel you are trying to achieve.
