| | | | The Tracks Lead The Way | | Wednesday 23rd January 2008 | | Glasgow based 5-piece new music band, The Tracks, performed their new song "Lead The Way" live for the First Minister, Alex Salmond, during the opening ceremony of the Barclay House Heritage Centre in Kilmarnock on 23/01/08. The song is about hope, belief and future regeneration and was commissioned by The Klin Group for the event after its CEO, Marie Macklin, first heard the band at The HAC theatre in Irvine last Autumn. A limited edition CD of the song was gifted to all guests at the event and a number of radio stations broadcast the song simultaneously with the live performance at the event.
